Do NOT Touch Heat Plates Directly

I was hoping to be able to use this with a clipless curling iron, however when I used it, I definitely felt heat through the glove when touching the plate of the curling iron, it does NOT keep out all heat and if you leave it on the iron for a more than 3 seconds you WILL get burnt! I am disappointed because I wanted to use it this way. Will keep it anyways because it helps, somewhat, to prevent burnt fingers.
