It works great.You dont need to go through a strand twice. One time its all you need. IT makes the job of flat ironing your hair super fast! Heats up fast too. Bottom line if your serious about time and about results.The investment your going to make matters.Its well worth it

Disappointing |

I've used both HAI and CHI and this one DOES NOT compare. It heats up quickly and that's why I gave it 2 stars, but that's abt it. The level of heat simply isn't enough! It's hard to believe esp as they go on and on about their ceramic, tourmaline plates..and that's really the only reason I bought this iron in the first place. A lesson for me to stick with what I know, at least when it comes to flat irons. I would NOT recommend it.

I have been using my fhi one inch flat straightener for almost a year and it never lets me down. I can even sleep on my straight hair and then wake up, go over some of the ends fast and i am done. I tried those cheaper irons that they sell in walgreens and they are not as good, you get what you pay for and with fhi you get a really great iron that works without making your hair all dried out. but i would use a straightener protection if you use your iron every day. fhi makes a hot sauce (that really looks like a bottle of red hot sauce!) and it really works. i know they sell it on stylebell, that is where i got mine. anways the iron is a great product!
