I never use anything on my hair before straightening with my Corlioliss (great iron!), and I know that's bad so I wanted a smoother that would flatten my hair down but make it silky not flat. This cream from ghd is great, it made my hair straight and shiny and silky without making it flat and greasy. I have used it every day and my hair looks so good!
