Hey Kinky & Curly friends don't be fool by the Italian name. I'm a Afrian American natural no perm hair woman with type 4b hair (tightly coiled kinky hair that shrinks up to 75% of natural length) and using this shampoo along with the matching conditioner has done wonders. This shampoo rinse away all the dirt with out leaving your hair dry and brittle. It smells and feel great on the surface of your hair. And it doesn't make hair more detangled.
