not what I expected

I first discovered these brushes when visiting my hairdresser, and loved them, but these for some reason don't grip my hair the same way. Though they appear to be the exact same product. I'm unable to get the same affect. Considering returning them (I bought 3 sizes). Wished they had worked out, but they are pricy and not completely satisfied.
