As someone who has fought curly, frizzy hair for most of my life, I can tell you that this appliance really works!! No crimps or creases, just straight hair! Once my teenagers (who also have curly hair) saw the difference in my hair, it became a morning ritual to not only do my hair, but theirs as well. I used to wash my hair every day out of necessity so I could blow out and try my best to make it look decent. Now, I am able to wash my hair every 3 days and just restyle in the morning. I have cut the amount of heat used on my hair, from blow dryers, curling irons, etc. by at least 98%. Great product to try and great gift to give to the curl fighters in your life!!

Maxglide is a "God sent". I have used every flat iron they have out there nothing hold water to Maxiglide. I have very thick course hair and it tamed it effortlessly.

I do not bother with asking the stylist at the salon to "flat iron" my hair after a cut. She raves about her high priced flat iron (brand to remain nameless). Her's does not compare to the MaxiGlide.

I am impressed w/ the improvements on this iron. I used the previous version & loved it. The significant changes make it even better (ie: swivel cord connection, non-skid detail, larger/modified water container, auto-turn off feature). I even like the travel bag that helps keep things tidy.

I'm thinking the heat on this new edition is lower than the previous version. (?) A level "5" doesn't seem to be as hot as on the earlier model. Not sure if this is my imagination or a change that I will have to adjust to. I'm trying out some hair protector sprays that are to help straighten & defrizz hair...but I don't know that they are really helping. I haven't used any of your product for this...guess I'll need to try some of your items.

It is obvious that your product design/research group really investigated ways to improve the design. I love to see innovation and attention to detail. Shows pride in your product & concern for the consumers needs/satisfaction. Thanks!

I cannot live without this item - 1st one i bought lasted 1year & 1day! However, had a 2 year warranty. This flat iron is great for long hair. I have never been able to get straight hair with any other iron and/or product! A word of caution about the steam - it can really burn your head if you hit the steam too close to the scalp - make sure you are at least a couple inches from the scalp. Also, make sure to get a good leave-in product to help with the high heat - CHI makes a great "Iron Guard", Redkin's Anti-Snap works well or Ojon has an amazing conditioning treatment to help combat frizzies and/or breakage.
