Baking Soda in your Hair?

I got a great tip from a stylist yesterday that I had to share! We were discussing hair buildup and how most of the buildup is due to hair products, shampoos, and conditioners.
How can we get rid of this buildup so that our hair products can work the way they are supposed to? The answer is Baking Soda. Yes the same baking soda used in cakes, deserts, toothpaste, etc. It can also clarify your hair! Baking soda is known for its natural cleaning agents for your teeth and your hair is no different. Adding baking soda every now and again will help to clarify your hair and allow your shampoo and conditioner to be as effective as it can be. You have to try it out and let me know what you think.
Step 1: Wash hair with shampoo
Step 2: While the lather is still in your hair take about 2 tbsp of Baking Soda and massage through your hair
Step 3: Rinse with warm water.
Step 4: If there is a little baking soda remaining in your hair you can shampoo again.
