Don't you just love this time of year? The weather is colder, the days are hectic but fun, families get together and you can glam it up all you want without looking over dressed. It's the perfect time to meet up with close friends, drink hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows and no guilt) and show off those fabulous new boots you've been waiting to wear. Now that it's 2008, I can already feel the excitement that comes with a New Year new beginnings, good friends, and puffy white snow (that hopefully wont wreck my new boots LOL). Happy New Year!

What's so great about Ionic Technology
Great question right? Basically, everyone's hair carries a positive electrical charge that is caused by dryness. Over time, this charge increases, and as your hair becomes drier, more hair cuticles open, creating ragged unhealthy looking (and feeling) hair that, let's be honest, looks like it has seen better days. Enter the flat iron, or hair dryer that creates negative ions. When the appliance is heated, negative ions are created and these negative ions cancel out the positive hair charges. When you glide down your hair with the iron, or blow dry, you are actually smoothing down those ragged open hair cuticles, sealing in your hair's own natural oils and moisture. Read more

Celeb Style we Love
Don't you just love Reese's hair in this picture? It's so shiny and silky and her highlights look amazing. Wish you could get this silky straight look? No worries! Before you straighten, work a little ghd smoothing balm through your hair to calm and relax any texture or curls you may have. Then work your wonders with your flat iron. After straightening, smooth on a tiny dab of Terax gloss finishing serum to keep the frizz at bay and create an award winning shine.
