Product seems to be built well. Has great features and a long swivel cord. Heats up very fast and gets very hot. The only minor drawback is the flat iron takes awhile to cool down and you need to be careful where you put it during this cool down process. I have used many different flat irons, but this one is my FAVORITE. Solano is great. I have very thick curly hair and this iron works so well with my hair type. It gets VERY hot. This is the best flatiron. The comb on the side helps a lot to get the hair straight evenly. This iron lasted 10 years for me. I didn't use it every day, but at least once a week and it lasted for ten years. (Posted on 11/20/2010)Rating
